When lazy minds become too fortunate!

Looking at so many success stories, reading, hearing and also being confronted with a lot of failure stories as well, it is great to learn and re-learn while our performance is in a fledgling stage, and instead at times we lose out due to the possible fear of ramifications.

There are a few external discriminations which are inevitable just like the taxes, but on the hindsight we limit ourselves with our lack of confidence, fear of the possibility of flirting with failures, and many others which each of you will be individually able to relate more with. Aren’t these intrinsic discriminations? When you raise your voice and show your rage, and moral anger against those inevitable external ones, don’t you want to curb these intrinsic ones? But what is happening?

Are we lazy enough that we keep repeating our mistakes? Why is that we take time to learn from our mistakes? Let it be as simple as time management. (I just mentioned time management as simple one, but that’s the hardest part ever possible for over 80% of people, this might even bore them. The laziness is a result of taking things light and being very casual to instances even when we have realized that the potential and the desired state of existence is not yet reached? Or, question yourself, if this being lazy and resting for an hour after every hour is the actual desired state of existence?

Let us make a small comparison! Or a small analogy! Let us say, we have a goal and our efforts are supposed to be channelized towards it. Before that, how many of us have a goal? That we genuinely want to achieve so many things and even if we have are we making our efforts and ground work towards it? The long and short of this story is, when we pay for any small product or service, and when we do not get what is expected, our zone of tolerance gets down. Why? We claim that we have paid. Fair enough, but with regard to working and learning from our mistakes? Do we? Starting now, think of a goal. Decide on what is that you want to achieve and let your psych drive you towards it, I promise there will be a shift in your attitude.

Come on, at the end of the day, if you are reading this feel blessed that you have got such a fortunate life in a platter in front of you, to even be able to think of what is that you want to do, to have the luxury of choosing when and what to have for the next meal.

There are people battling cancers,

Fighting for survival,

Unsure if there will be a possibility of a next meal,

Unaware if they will wake up alive the next morning,

Precisely, there are people living on the thin line of difference between having the fear of death and the fear of not being able to die. Now think of a face which will fit into each of the above category, keep yours next to that face. Aren’t you fortunate enough to have it? Don’t you feel blessed? Now, question yourself, if all that you want to do is to waste it without learning?

There is scope for improvement in every walk of life. These external and intrinsic discriminations are disruptors, which never gets the benefit from the disruptions it causes. The effect is always on something else, your reactions to those gives it the strength and power. If you are focused, they will definitely lose the sheen.

A small takeaway finally out of this is, life is a gift, it is precious, if you are able to read this, stay
blessed that you are fortunate. Make the best out of this life and spread happiness, and that will happen only when your insecurities about yourself gets away. There are certain people in this world who are myopic with their vision, and a few others who are myopic in their hearts and minds to not look beyond the hindrances and stay put in the same place without moving forward. If there can be a cure for the myopia in the eyes by the doctor, the myopia in your mind has to be shot out only by you.
