Nurture the Nature to nurture yourself!
While nature is the best teacher, is each one of us trying to be the best student to learn from her? Nevertheless the student community around the world
never loves the way pedagogical works, more often than or not it is quite true
when it comes to viewing nature as a teacher and the student here is the entire
population. The sample space is really huge.
Let me talk about the nature getting a hit later, do we all
love ourselves?
I am able to see momentarily YES coming up, but going a
little deeper, is it because of the concern towards the momentarily happiness
vs long lasting happiness- which is nothing but health!
Health – one of the simplest things about health is just to
use the body. If you do that sufficiently, the body has every means to create
health for itself. It does not mean nothing else will happen to you, or you
will be perfect. I will put my legs down to support the fact that, if you are
able to use your body to an extent, as much as you should do, approximately
eighty per cent of the ailments on this planet would just disappear. Of the
remaining twenty, ten per cent is because of the type of food that we are
eating. That means if food habits were also changed, only 10% of the world’s
ailments would remain. If out of all the sick people, 90% became healthy just
by using the body and eating the right food, the remaining 10% could be easily
handled. But now, the volume of illness in the world is so large because we do not
eat properly or use the body properly. You might really feel I’m not
making any sense at all, especially when I suggested about changing the food
habits, but the realities are always harsh.
Health is not something that you invented. Health is not
your idea. When life processes are happening well, that is health. If at all we
have created anything, it is ill-health.
If you lived on this planet 100 years ago, physically you
would be at least 20 times more active than you are right now. You would have
walked everywhere; you would have done everything with your hands. Today, life
is different; we cannot go back to the old ways anymore. But that doesn’t mean
we have to become 60 when we are 20. A lot of 20-year-olds today cannot perform
as much activity as 60-year-olds used to do 100 years ago. Or, let me just
simply put it as I can never imagine being half as active as how my Granny used
to be at 95 years of age, and I swear it, I’m not exaggerating. It is a fact, isn’t it? This means, we are
just weakening humanity. Over a period of time, we will become a degenerate
human race.
We are getting more concerned these days about the life of
others, social media is ruining us in the name of keeping us all connected. Yes,
it does help us, but only if we used it for that purpose. The reality shows, or
whatever that we waste our valuable time on, rather than using the rich,
pristine resource in our hand – time, spoiling our valuable GOLD- health – in the
race of achieving what? I believe the question mark must get bigger.
You just have to use your body, use your head and use your
energies. If these three things are well exercised and balanced you will be
healthy. A sudden burst of activity may lay you down, but if you build
physical, mental and energy-based activities into your life, you will be
healthy. If your body is working well, your mind is working well and your
energy is supporting the two, making sure nothing goes wrong, that is health.
Now getting back to the nature, with which I started back, I
really want to Quote DR. APJ here- “If
all of us could plant 10 trees in our entire lifetime, and nurture them, we
will all have billions of trees around and that will take care of all the
environmental issues”. Do we really care about it? NO.
DO we give back
anything to the Mother Nature, eh what, I know hardly we all do anything back
to our own mother who sacrifices her entire life to us. So, it becomes a bigger
no this time. Finally, do we at least let her be safe? NO. Litters everywhere, industrializations,
and what not? Ultimately we are the bunch of people who celebrated when our
prime minister suggested we must keep our streets clean! Well, we needed
someone to even remind us about it.
So many MNC’s taking up the land of the farmers for their
growth, and a really intriguing and hurting fact is that, I have never heard or
seen an owner of a cigarette or a liquor company ever been bankrupt, manufacturing and marketing products, ultimately not necessary for us to lead a healthy life, but the farmers who
cultivate our food is poor in this country, they are dying, If going forward, this is what is
called development then we need to really think about the next generation’s
health.
We hardly find time to even think of all these, and
ultimately it zeroes on to, “are we happy living at these moment forgetting the
past and not worrying about the future?” The thought is absolutely good, but it
works when you’re focusing on your goals, without any fear over the uncertainty
or worry for the dusted. So I sense that deep inside all of us are only
concerned about ourselves, but are we doing that perfectly at least ? NO!
So, I strongly suggest that you start loving yourself, and
in case you deeply get into loving yourself, you will one day start loving this
nature as well.
JAI HIND!
Quite thought provoking.. Terms like health and nature seem to be overridden by what is called lifestyle.
